HISI Analytical Technologies purchases ThermEx product line from Leco Corp.
Humble Instruments & Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the purchase of the ThermEx product line from Leco Corp. of St. Joseph, Michigan. The ThermEx product line functions as an automatic or manual inlet for gas chromatography whereby solid, semi-solid, or liquid samples can be introduced for gas chromatographic fingerprinting. In organic geochemistry this is used primarily for thermal extraction or pyrolysis fingerprinting of rock samples to assess pay zones or source rock type and quality.
