Rock-Eval II, Rock-Eval II with TOC, OSA and Rock-Eval 5

Removal of the obsolete Brooks or Tylan brand dual electronic flow controllers and replace with reliable manually adjustable flow controllers. Price includes modification of analyzer to allow correct operation of Rock-Eval with manual flow controllers. (This option is also available for the TOC module at a additional charge)

Replacement of obsolete Phillips brand thermal printer/plotter with a IBM compatible standard dot matrix printer. Price reflects exchange of existing UT85 (if required) to the latest version and modification of the existing Analog and E.V. Debits circuit boards. Modification includes new 6 ft printer cable and a IBM compatible printer. This upgrade can be performed by the customer if desired.>/p>

The rebuild includes the replacement of the following (but not limited to):
Pyrolysis oven heater wire, Pyrolysis oven temperature probe, CO2 trap temperature probe, splitter heating cartridge, splitter temperature probe, all analytical tubing, all pneumatic urethane lines, R402 air operated valves, all yellow topped electrovalves (including all associated fittings, ferrules and washers), Pyrolysis oven pedestal, oven closing o'ring assembly, 6 way valve control brass cylinder, oven and pedestal pneumatic control brass cylinders, all manual push values, FID fine metering valve, all water trap seals, keyboard bulbs, memory backup battery, FID assembly and vacuum pump.

Also included in the rebuild package is:
Removal of the Pyrolysis/splitter assembly and complete flushing and cleaning of the 6 way valve and all associated lines, rebuild of auto sampler with replacement of internal seals and gaskets, replacement of electronic flow controllers with highly reliable manual gas flow valves.

This upgrade removes the existing obsolete, custom made, hard to service 6 way valve assembly and replaces it which a standard easy to maintain valve assembly. After the upgrade has been performed valve maintenance difficulty is greatly reduced by ease of access and user replaceable valve parts.

Replacement of the existing TOC oven with a redesigned oven which utilizes a heater cartridge and temperature probe similar to that used in the splitter assembly. The new TOC oven also provides easy maintenance of the oven catalyst material which is important for correct total organic carbon determination
